ACIMEX supplies erector to NFM Technologies PDF Print E-mail

One of the worlds’ largest TBM manufacturer, NFM Technolgies has signed the order confirmation for the supply of a vacuum erector system made by Acimex.

The erector will be installed in a TBM that will be excavating a tunnel with 12,6 inner diameters for the subway of Sevilla in Spain.

The supplied equipment include one vacuum erector and a vacuum crane/beam  with the following caracteristics:

 

 

  • Segment unload from trains
  • Segment rotation of 90°
  • Segment loading on the conveyer belt of the erector
  • Standard, counter-key and key segments are handled by vacuum suction pads
  • Inverted segments are handled by chains suspending from vacuum device
  • The beam is also equipped with a trolley allowing to unload the trains on
  • Two parallel tracks

 

 

The maximum weight of a standard stone will be 13 tons and even 16 tons for the inverted segment.

 

The purchase order includes an identical equipment set for a second TBM, but with only one rail track and without inverted segments.
