It is in iron and steel industry that
ACIMEX starts its first steps 35 years ago, in 1971.
At that time ACIMEX was a pioneer when handling, with vacuum lifters,
iron sheets of 15 000 Kgs. Up to now, 3 000 devices have been
produced for iron sheets handling.
ACIMEX activity covers a large range of handling systems from the
lighest (gold metal sheet of 3 000 mm lenght for a weight of 21
grammes and a tiny thickness of 12 microns) to the heaviest (naval
pieces of 10 000 mm x 10 000 mm for a weight of 130 000 Kgs)
Therefore ACIMEX gets an experience that is beneficiary to its
customers from the smallest to the highest.
